Selection Tool:
You will find the following editing tools bar displayed at the left-hand side of the screen.
 Layer Tool: This tool will be discussed in the next section. To go directly to Layer Tool click here.
 Zoom In/Out Tool: Click on this icon. Next when you click on your image with the left-mouse button the image will zoom in and when you click on your image with the right-mouse button the image will zoom out.
 Rectangle Selection Tool: Click on this icon. Move your cursor to the area of your image you would like to select. Hold down the left-mouse button and drag out a selected area. Once you have selected an area you will be able to move this selected area by holding down your left-mouse button and dragging it to where you like. If you would like to rotate this selected area select the area and hold down the right-mouse button and move the cursor and you will see the image rotate.
At the same time when clicking on this icon the Tools Options - Select window appear on the lower right side of the screen giving you the following options. Cut selection will cut out your selected area and leave an area cut out. Copy selection will copy your selected area and leave the image unchanged.
 Free Selection Tool: Click on this icon. Move you cursor to the area of your image you would like to select. Hold down the left-mouse button and drag out a selected area. Once you have selected an area you will be able to move this selected area by holding down your left-mouse button and dragging it to where you like. If you would like to rotate this selected area select the area and hold down the right-mouse button and move the cursor and you will see the image rotate.

 Flood Fill Tool: Click on this icon. Click your left mouse button on the region you want to fill with the foreground color and click your right mouse button on the region you want to fill with the background color. The foreground and background colors are displayed underneath the color palette.
You can also use the Color Palette (located on the right-hand side) to choose your colors. Click with the left-mouse button to choose the forecolor in the color palette and click with the right-mouse button to choose the backcolor in the color palette. There is also a Transparency bar where you can control the degree of transparency of the color.
